Frequently asked questions
Is All Ends Tied legal advice?
No. It is a set of record-keeping tools and general information. We are not a law firm. For legal, tax or financial advice, speak to a qualified professional.
Which states are covered?
The Workbook, Letter Pack and Beneficiary Pack are general and work anywhere in Australia. Separate add-ons for New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland are available at A$19 each. For other states, the Workbook, Letter Pack and Beneficiary Pack work as they are and link to the official national pages.
What is in the Complete Pack? Does it include the state add-ons?
The Complete Pack contains the Workbook, the Letter Pack and the Beneficiary Pack. It does not include any state add-on. The NSW, VIC, WA and QLD add-ons are sold separately.
How much does each product cost?
Workbook A$39, Letter Pack A$19, Beneficiary Pack A$15, Complete Pack A$59, NSW Add-on A$19, VIC Add-on A$19. The Starter Kit is free. All prices are in Australian dollars and one-off. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and the price you see is the full price you pay.
Is the Complete Pack cheaper than buying the products separately?
Yes. The Workbook, Letter Pack and Beneficiary Pack cost A$73 separately and A$59 in the Complete Pack, so you save A$14. The free Starter Kit is not part of the Complete Pack.
How do I get the free Starter Kit? Do I have to give my email address?
No. The Starter Kit is a free download straight from the Free Starter Kit page, with no signup and no email address needed. Separately, you can choose to receive our free 3-email First 14 Days guide by ticking a box on a form on that page. The box is never ticked for you, and downloading does not sign you up to anything.
Do I need a spreadsheet to be an executor?
No. But a tidy record of what you did, when and why is useful if anyone asks you to account for the estate, and it makes your solicitor and accountant's work quicker.
Does it work in Google Sheets and Excel?
Yes, it uses standard formulas only. See How it works for first-use checks.
Is there a subscription?
No. Prices are one-off. We review the products each year, around July.
Do I get updates?
Yes. You get free updates to the product you bought for 12 months from the date of purchase, through your original download link (if the link has run out of downloads, contact us and we will reset it). We do not promise a particular update date or particular changes. We announce updates on the Updates page, and we email about them only to people who have chosen to receive our emails. After 12 months you keep the version you downloaded.
Do you sell outside Australia?
No. The products are written for Australian executors and Australian law, and we sell and market them to customers in Australia only. We do not market to the European Union, European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
What if I am not satisfied? Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you are not happy with a product for any reason, ask us within 30 days of buying and we will refund the full price you paid, with no reason needed. If we refund you, we ask that you delete your copy of the files. This 30-day refund is extra: your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected and are not limited by the 30 days. See the refund policy for the full wording and how to ask.
What if a file will not open, or a formula shows an error?
Contact us with your order email, the product name and what went wrong. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement. These rights are not limited by the 30-day refund or any other time period on our refund page. See the refund policy.
Where is my information stored?
In your own file. We do not receive what you type into the spreadsheets.
Can a professional use it with clients?
Please contact us first; licence terms for professionals are still to be settled.
