Privacy policy

This policy describes how we handle personal information. The providers named below are the ones we use; their own privacy pages say more about how they handle data.

The short version

Our products are files you download. The estate information you type into them stays in your own Google or Microsoft account or on your own computer. We do not receive it.
We collect only what we need to deliver your purchase, send you emails you asked for, and run the website.
We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

Emails and unsubscribing

We send commercial emails only with your consent, and we keep a record of when and how you gave it (for example, the date, time and form you used to sign up). The free Starter Kit is a direct download from our website: it needs no sign-up and no email address. Separately, you can choose to receive our free 3-email First 14 Days guide by completing a form with an unticked box that you tick yourself. Downloading the Starter Kit does not sign you up to the guide or to any marketing.

Buying a product does not sign you up to marketing. After a purchase we send only the emails needed to deliver and support that order (for example, your download link and a receipt). We add a customer to a marketing list only if they separately tick an unticked opt-in box or sign up on a form.

Every commercial email says who sent it (All Ends Tied, ABN 15 398 583 866) and has a working unsubscribe link or reply-to-unsubscribe option, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. We process unsubscribe requests within five working days and then stop commercial emails. We may still send transactional emails about an order.

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the business, and we may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Where your information is processed

These providers handle your information for us and may store or process it outside Australia:

MailerLite (email delivery for the free guide). We are the customer and MailerLite processes your email address and first name for us. MailerLite says it stores customer data in Google data centres in the European Union (the Netherlands for current accounts), and that it may transfer and process data anywhere in the world where it or its sub-processors operate. For customers with an Australian billing address, the contracting company is MailerLite, Inc. in the United States.
Payhip (checkout and delivery of paid products). Payhip Limited is based in London, UK. Payhip says it stores the information it holds on servers in the EU, and it keeps transaction details (name, email, IP address, billing address and location) for 10 years for EU VAT purposes. Your card details are handled by the payment processor you choose at checkout (for example Stripe or PayPal), and Payhip does not collect them.
Netlify (website hosting). Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States and says it may store personal data outside the country where it was collected.

We do not choose the exact data centre for any of these, and these arrangements can change. Each provider’s own privacy policy applies to its handling of your information.

Access and correction

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, using the contact page. We are a small business that may be exempt from the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), but we follow the Australian Privacy Principles voluntarily.

Complaints

Sensitive situations

People use our products after a death. Please do not email us bank passwords, full account numbers, tax file numbers or copies of identity documents. We will never ask for them.
