Executor resources by state and territory (official links)
Probate in Australia is run by each state and territory, so the court, forms and fees differ. This page lists the type of body to look for in each place and the national resources that apply everywhere.
National
- ATO: Deceased estates. Includes notifying a death and the final tax return.
- Services Australia: Who to tell when someone dies. Says to tell Services Australia within 28 days.
- Australian Death Notification Service: deathnotification.gov.au. Lets you tell multiple organisations at once.
